The News Report Yesterday From Channel 19/43 Only Told PART! Of The Story. The "Devil" Is In The Details.
Pulte Has Agreed To Pay The Semi-Annual Installments For Pulte Homeowners Who Currently Own Property As Of 30 Nov. 2004. What That Means In Detail Is.
1. Pulte Homeowners Will Still Be Assessed For The Sewer & Water Improvements. Pulte Will Pay The Semi-Annual (6 Month) Installments Until Either:
A. The Debt Has Been Paid.
Or
B. The Homeowner Sells The House. In That Event, Either The New Homeowner Will Inherit The Debt, Or The Current Homeowner Will Have To Pay It.
2. If You Have A Pending Sale On The House, You Would Still Have To Pay The Assessment, Or Get Agreement From The Buyer To Assume The Debt.
3. You Are Relying On Putle's "Gentlemen's Agreement" To Pay An Assessment That Is Levied Against YOUR Property. If Pulte Misses A Payment, Makes An Administrative Error, Or Sometime Later Chooses Not To Honor The Agreement, YOU STILL OWE THE MONEY!! The Debt Remains IN YOUR NAME, AGAINST YOUR PROPERTY!!!!
4. Pulte Could Sell Their Interest In Woodgate Farms To Another Builder Before The Debt Is Paid & Pulte Would Then Have No Responsibility To Continue To Pay The Debt.
5. Our Brother & Sister Homeowners From Garland Griffin And Wheaton Developments Still Do Not Know Whether Or Not Their Portion Of The Assessment Will Be Paid.
We Need To Continue To Stay Together As A Group Until This Matter Is 100% Resolved To Our Mutual Satisfaction. Please Let All Your Neighbors Know About The Issue & Encourage Them To Register On This Website To Stay Informed.

Channel 19 & 43 News Aired A Story This Evening (29th), Reporting That Pulte Homes Has Agreed To Pay The Sewer / Water Assessment For All Current Pulte Homeowners. Please Note Two Important Caveats:
1. This Only Affects Pulte Homeowners. No Similar Statements Have Been Released To The Public From Either Garland Griffin Or Wheaton Developments Regarding Their Homeowners.
2. This Agreement As Stated Today Pertains To Only Current Pulte Homeowners. If You Have A Pending Sale / Purchase Of A Pulte Home, You May Or May NOT! Be Covered By This Announcement.
